Windows 7 how to solve the issues of software compatibility?

The reason why Microsoft's Vista is not as successful as XP because of Vista's compatibility. So for Windows7, Microsoft has make a great efforts on program compatibility. First, to the normal operation of the program on the Vista, Windows7 assure it can be compatible. But for those programs who can run on XP, but can not run on Vista, the Windows 7 also can not compatible. As to the program which can not been compatible, we can we can try to use compatibility mode to run, and the steps are as follows:

Right-click the programs needed to running under compatibility mode, select properties (the last menu), then switch to the Compatibility tab, then you can choose XP, or Vista's compatibility mode to run.But this is not a cure-all approach, many programs still can not perfect run on the Windows7.

In order to let those programs who can only run on XP can also run normally on Windows 7, Microsoft has deliberately released XP Mode program. So, we can use the virtual machine technology to run the program with visualization on Windows 7. But unfortunately the XP mode has some requirements on the hardware of machine. And many older machines do not support this mode. What's more, the XP mode only owned by Windows7 Premium, the Home Edition will not have this feature.
