Windows 7 has associated with some common file

Windows 7 has associated with some common file and re-open with the default

I believe many people may confused after we re-install the operating system, the most headaches are not "re-install a common software one by one" but to associated with some common files and the default open program after re-installing the software.

For example, before the Windows 7 user to re-install the system, the program to open AVI, MP3, RMVB and other documents is Windows Media Player 12. Once re-installed the system, due to the need to re-install common software, these three files by default will change with open procedures, you need to re-associate AVI, MP3, RMVB these three documents with WMP 12.

If you are a Windows 7 users, you can avoid such duplication effort. And it's no need to associated with a re-open the program by default. Continue to use WMP 12 as an example:

Click the "Start" button in the pop-up menu, select "Default Programs". Later, the system will open the "Set your default programs" dialog box. And then select "Windows Media Player" in the left list, then click the button in the red box at the bottom right corner. At this time, the system will pop up a dialog box again. Windows 7 users can modify the file formats which need / not need to use WMP 12 to open.
